Life as Brown Swayze's Baby...

If you have been reading my blog for sometime, you will know that one of my all time favourite movies is Dirty Dancing.  You will also know that I like to dance.  A lot.

By some stroke of good fortune, I ended up marrying the Brown Swayze, and consequently, I often feel as though I am living out Dirty Dancing...well, the good bits, that is...

Whilst I don't have an ambition to join the Peace Corps, I do love watermelons, and often eat them, as well as carrying them....

Although I sometimes go by the moniker Incendiary Blonde, I am definitely B-Swayze's Baby...

Otis Redding was right - Six feet one, weigh two hundred and ten...they call him the Love Man....or in this case, Loverboy...

He never puts me in a corner....but that's mostly because there is no time to sit when there is dancing to be had....

He has a strong frame, although there are times when he demonstrates spaghetti arms and gets all up in my dance space...

I'm definitely having the time of my life.

  1. Hahaha!!! You two are the best! It is awesome seeing such a cool couple who really loves eachother and truly enjoys spending time together. Those mad dancing skills certainly don't hurt the situation...now we just wait for the lift!!!

    1. Thanks, Chris, that's very sweet of you to say! :) Oh damn, I wish I could do the lift without giving the B-Swayze a hernia...!

  2. You two are such a stellar and inspiring couple. I adore that you're both into cutting a rug. There are countless women out there who, I'm sure, would give their favourite handbag to have a perpetual dance partner like you do (and no doubt, some chaps and their fave jeans to get one, too :)).

  11. What a lovely "love story". It's so fateful that you should have the love of your life also enjoy dancing as much as you do. I enjoyed looking at all your correlation photographs and I'm just waiting for the one in the water where he lifts you above his head, get out there and practice.
