A bit of a mishap with a new toner has meant that after seven years of being an Incendiary Blonde, I am now more of an....Incendiary Berry...
It is a bit of a shock every time I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I must say.
Overall I have had a surprisingly positive reaction, and dare I say, I'm actually quite enjoying the change. Fear not, though, I will be back to blonde in a week or two, as the purple should wash out in five or six washes....in fact, it's already more lilac today after I washed it this morning.
God forbid that I should have to rename my blog....

Oh, I totally love it!! I had blue hair for ages and some days, I really miss it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I used to dye my hair pink and red when in my teens and early 20s, but never purple! :)

Thanks, Miss Rosie! :) xx
DeleteWhat color were you attempting to tone your lovely blonde? I think that the purple looks smashing on you in the meantime!
ReplyDeleteWell, the intention was that it would be a very similar tone to usual - a pearly blonde. The toner always has a lilac tint to counterbalance the yellow, but this one was waaaaaaaaaay lilac! :) Thank you, I'm rather enjoying the purple now! Hehe! xxx
