Now, if you've read my last few posts, you may be starting to notice a trend in my summer activities, namely, a penchant for picnics.
Continuing with the theme, I attended another picnic last Sunday - this time to celebrate the birthday of two lovely friends of mine!
I have attended so many birthday celebrations this month already, and this also happened to be the second Hawaiian themed one, the first of which you may recall from a previous post, earlier in July.
There was Hawaiin music to transport us from Primrose Hill to a tiki paradise, as well as lots of colourful outfits, and an abundance of food and drinks.
There were also games! Frisbee, badminton and....lemon jousting...
Every tiki party needs a tiki...
And every birthday party needs presents!
Ironically, despite the tropical temperatures that we have been experiencing lately, a short sprinkle of rain threatened to interfere with our fun...but luckily it stopped quite quickly and the sun came out. Hooray!!!
It was a lovely day of celebration and fun, and to continue with this theme I have lots more birthdays coming up in August (including mine)!

A cheeky tiki photo with the birthday girls!
Talk about a fantastic way to spend a summer day! Good friends, fab tropical threads, fun games, scrumptious picnic nibbles - it doesn't get much better than that when the sun is out in full force.
ReplyDeleteHappy early birthday wishes, dear gal!
♥ Jessica
It was definitely a fun day out! It could have done with being a *little* warmer (it is positively HOT today) but you can't control the weather!
DeleteThank you Jessica!!! xx
Everyone is so nicely dressed. What a great way to spend the day!
ReplyDeleteAren't they? It is so nice when people make an effort - especially when there is a theme! :)
DeleteYou and all of your friends look fabulous! Love the view of the city from atop Primrose Hill! Always a favorite stop of ours. Looking forward to seeing how you celebrate your birthday in August. I'll be celebrating mine as well on the 5th ;-)
ReplyDeleteKeep on picnicking!
Thank you Elisa! Oh yes, the view from Primrose Hill is amazing. Oooh our birthdays are so close - mine is on the 8th! It's a pretty big one too, this year *ahem*... ;) Have a great birthday on the 5th! xx
DeleteYou guys always look like you're having great fun! Love all the Tiki themed parties. Themed parties always make things a lot more fun.
ReplyDeleteHehehe thanks Mariela! We try to have as much fun as possible! I am a fan of themes myself! :)
DeleteUGH!!!! Every time I read your blog you are having such a good time!! I LOVE IT!!! That's it! I'm moving to London and becoming your best friend (creepy enough for you)!!!!!

ReplyDeleteSo excited to live across from a park in Denver now. Definitely going to do some picnicking next summer.

I want to visit Denver! A friend of mine was just there, and was raving about the amazing dancing and vintage shopping. So Denver is definitely on my list of places to visit now - watch out, I will be coming to visit you at some point! :)
